Rotary Laser BD7A
The battery-operated and therefore universally deployable 360° rotating laser BD7A simplifies, at the push of a button, the all-round projection of a horizontal laser line for, for example, the straight attachment or marking of wallpaper borders, wall tiles, paint edges, wall cabinets, or the drilling of precisely placed dowel holes at a uniform height. And that on all four walls simultaneously!
If required, the BD7A additionally projects a vertical laser line onto the opposite wall, for example, to align pictures and shelves at this right-angled laser cross or to lay tiles in a precise grid. The projection of an inclined marking line at a freely adjustable tilt angle is also possible in no time. This makes even the otherwise tricky installation of a stair railing mounted parallel to the steps child's play.
The combination bracket with universal clamp and suction cup included in the BD7A package enables a variety of mounting options on objects and surfaces. Whether attached to glass, tiles, a shelf, or a ladder: the BD7A finds secure hold everywhere effortlessly and can be precisely aligned and tilted as needed for your work using the adjustable joint on the combination bracket. The high-quality housing of the 360° laser is made of painted aluminium, making it perfectly equipped for robust everyday use.
The integrated laser is self-levelling and automatically compensates for floor unevenness up to 3° tilt. The self-alignment takes only a few seconds and occurs immediately after switching on the device. If self-levelling is not possible due to greater unevenness or dirt, the laser signals this with a red LED light and blinking laser lines.
Three projection modes for almost all alignment tasks as well as the multifunctional combination bracket make the compact laser, weighing only 280g, an indispensable precision tool for professionals and DIY enthusiasts. With the ¼-inch thread on the device base, the rotating laser can also be mounted on standard tripods. Naturally, Trotec also offers a stable universal telescopic tripod for the BD7A and many other applications.
The integrated latest-generation lithium-ion battery ensures long-lasting performance and maximum operating times in the BD7A. Even with daily use involving frequent partial discharges, the Li-Ion battery guarantees a long service life without the memory effect known from conventional NiCd batteries.
